Senior Staff Accountant

Reporting the Chief Financial Officer, we are looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to assist in preparing financial statements that follow all regulatory and accounting guidelines. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to, general ledger accountability, financial reporting/analysis and other special projects as assigned.

Sales Analyst

“Our goal is simple, be indispensable” Advocate is looking for an indispensable sales analyst who will help develop and track key performance indicators critical to the improvement of decision-making and enhancement of print solutions. 

The successful candidate will help maximize commercial print productivity and revenues through collection, analysis and reporting of sales related data in a continuous effort to increase overall sales. 

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales this position collaborates with all sales personnel as well as Estimating, Shipping and Receiving and Production teams across Atlantic Canada.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create standardized reports utilizing sales data from company sales systems.
  • Conduct analysis on product sales to produce meaningful trends and predictive measures.
  • Collect, analyze, evaluate and report on customer specific data.
  • Assist managers in developing and reviewing sales budgets and rolling sales forecasts including sales to budget variance analysis.
  • Analyze print, digital and signage sales solutions to determine profitability.
  • Help co-ordinate data collection for sales forecasting.
  • Collaborate with estimating and all internal teams when preparing forecasting by providing them with the necessary information and guidance for short and long-range forecasts.
  • Communicate results to key stakeholders by providing sales analysis.
  • Perform all work within Advocate’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.   
  • Perform other general duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary education in Business Administration or equivalent working experience.
  • Ideally candidate has 3 to 5 years sales analyst experience.
  • Ability to co-ordinate and manage simultaneous data analysis requests of varying size and scope.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Project Management and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent time management and accuracy with details.
