Part-time Truck Driver/Labourer

 

Are you looking for a part-time opportunity to preform local driving and general labour.  As a driver the successful candidate will collect, distribute and deliver company products to clients driving a company vehicle throughout the Lunenburg and nearby counties. Organizing and planning daily requirements to meet delivery and labour work will be required.

 LighthouseNow, a Division of Advocate Media Inc. has a summer opportunity for a receptionist who excels at reception and administrative duties to join our top-notch Administration Team.  The successful candidate will ensure excellent customer service for all internal and external clients of Lighthouse print and publishing.

 Working with the Office Administrator this position provides general administrative support for cash management and customer service.As the first point of contact this position helps support proper security identification procedures are facilitated for all visitors and facilitates front counter sales for our community.

Sales Analyst

“Our goal is simple, be indispensable” Advocate is looking for an indispensable sales analyst who will help develop and track key performance indicators critical to the improvement of decision-making and enhancement of print solutions. 

The successful candidate will help maximize commercial print productivity and revenues through collection, analysis and reporting of sales related data in a continuous effort to increase overall sales. 

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales this position collaborates with all sales personnel as well as Estimating, Shipping and Receiving and Production teams across Atlantic Canada.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create standardized reports utilizing sales data from company sales systems.
  • Conduct analysis on product sales to produce meaningful trends and predictive measures.
  • Collect, analyze, evaluate and report on customer specific data.
  • Assist managers in developing and reviewing sales budgets and rolling sales forecasts including sales to budget variance analysis.
  • Analyze print, digital and signage sales solutions to determine profitability.
  • Help co-ordinate data collection for sales forecasting.
  • Collaborate with estimating and all internal teams when preparing forecasting by providing them with the necessary information and guidance for short and long-range forecasts.
  • Communicate results to key stakeholders by providing sales analysis.
  • Perform all work within Advocate’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.   
  • Perform other general duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary education in Business Administration or equivalent working experience.
  • Ideally candidate has 3 to 5 years sales analyst experience.
  • Ability to co-ordinate and manage simultaneous data analysis requests of varying size and scope.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Project Management and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent time management and accuracy with details.
